Slatted Bed Base Suitable for Most Antique Beds

A variable width makes this suitable for beds from 4 ft to 5 ft wide - the length is fixed for the standard UK length of 6 ft 3.

These Slatted Bases have a metal frame with 27 beach, lightly sprung slats and are suitable for most beds, antique and new.

We have sold this product for French and English antique iron beds (top left), as well as a variety of French antique wooden beds (top right) and Corbeille beds (bottom left). It is an adaptable product which only needs an existing frame or structure to sit on for it to be useable.

The base weighs aprox. 20kg. Once it is in place on the bed, it is easy to secure to iron beds and will simply sit down onto any existing structure on a wooden bed. For more details please check out the photos on the following pages.

With an extendable width if you decide to change your bed in the future for something larger or smaller, you can always re-use this base.

Delivery to most parts of the UK is £35 for a courier, weekday delivery arriving before 4pm. Timed and weekend deliveries are extra.
