New EXTENDABLE Slatted Bed Base Suitable for Most ANTIQUE Beds

WOODEN BED EXAMPLE

These Slatted Bases have a metal frame with 27 beach, lightly sprung slats.

Most wooden beds will have some form of supports to take a base as shown in the bottom left picture below. If you feel that cross bars alone, as shown here, are not sufficient suuport for your slats, then you can always add a wooden ledge to add support, normally though, the cross bars work well on their own.
To extend the base to the width you need, just pull them apart and then lay them down on your supports.
The base doesn't move and doesn't need to be fixed in place when they are used within the side pieces of the bed.
If your bed is a slightly different construction then the slats may still fit, if you are in doubt please give us a call and we will certainly try to provide some advice.

Delivery to most parts of the UK is £35 for a courier, weekday delivery arriving before 4pm. Timed and weekend deliveries are extra.
