Bottom Left Photo: Shows the 2 vertical iron rails which will support the mattress in the centre of your bed when the frame is pulled out.

Bottom Right Photo: Shows a cable tie holding the base in place - we use only 2 ties to secure a base to a bed we use ourselves, and this has worked well without any movement for a couple of years, but it's always worthwhile checking the ties over time and adding more ties as you see fit.
