New EXTENDABLE Slatted Bed Base Suitable for Most ANTIQUE Beds

IRON BED EXAMPLE

These Slatted Bases have a metal frame with 27 beach, lightly sprung slats.

The base is shown here on a standard 4 ft 6 wide French iron bed. The base sits firmly at each 4 corners of the bed - there is no bend in the middle of the frame.

Although the frame sits quite firmly as it is, we would recommend that you secure it to your bed. This can be done by screwing through the metal frame into the frame of your bed, or it can be tied onto the frame - cable ties are particularly strong and easy to use.
