PROJECT: French Antique 1930'S Solid Oak Bed

This bed is currently on sale and priced for the bed frame as it is - the price EXCLUDES the slatted bed base shown below.

A lovely bed in oak with pretty raised floral (roses) decoration on the head and footboard.

The finish on the bed has been water damaged leaving the original oak partly exposed along with the varnish. This is a great bed to either sand back to the original oak, or paint.

Apart from the asthetics of the wood, the bed is in fine condition, it fits together tightly with ease.

The bed currently has internal measurements of 4 ft 4 . We would recommend that you raise the brackets on the bed sides in order to lay slats flush with the side pieces and therefore allow the bed to take a standard double 4 ft 6 mattress with ease.

The price does not include the slatted bed base shown in the pictures - these can be purchased for an addtional £149.99
